Working Together on Complex Cases

How the HPB Tumour Board Guides Care

Hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions can call for expertise across several disciplines. The HPB Tumour Board brings surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiologists, interventional radiologists and medical officers together to review cases from different clinical perspectives. Members consider the available imaging, investigations and clinical findings, then discuss possible next steps for diagnosis and treatment. This shared review helps the care team develop a coordinated plan tailored to each patient's needs.
